How much is everyone eating?

Hiya! I'm fairly new to MFP, but I also started Insanity on April 1st and happy I found this group.
Some background: I started my weight loss about 3 months ago but I am still a bit unsure of how much I need to be eating daily. In late January I got a body analysis done and was sadden by the results (but I knew they wouldn't be good). At 5'2" I weighed 159 lbs, and a body fact percentage of 42.8 % :noway: and a BMR of 1261. I really started to watch what I ate and went on the gazelle for 30 minutes a day, but had to stop because of blisters, but I lost about 10 pounds in 2 months. I'm scheduling another body analysis in about 3 weeks, so I'm anxious to see how much it has changed.
Well after a month of Insanity I haven't lost a pound but I defiantly feel more toned. I can feel it in my arms and see it in my legs, I went down a jean size too. But food I still an issue for me. I'm trying to find a balance between eating enough each day, eating the right kinds of food, and not breaking my budget (student with about $30 weekly for food). I try to eat 1700 a day, with about 100 g of protein, but most days I eat about 1600. During the workouts I averaged burning about 600 calories. My net for most days is about 1000. Am I eating too much, too little, about right? Will I need to up it any for next month, or should I eat the same and hopefully have the weight come off?

It really just depends on what works for you. This month I sometimes eat as low as 1300-1400 and other times I'm eating 1500-1700. I want to up my caloric intake period but yeah you defiantly need to fuel your body for these workouts. If you feel like your good at the end of the day, not hungry pretty satisfied than good for you. It's all about finding what works for you because no one is the same.
I'm thinking of upping my caloric intake to about 1800. I like trying out different numbers to see how my body reacts to it. There was a point where I ate 1700 daily with no problem and I liked it, my body liked it. I need to get back there. I want my metabolism to fasten not slow down so I have to hop on that.
Good luck!0
