Hi, i am really worried that i wont lose any weight since i can hardly eat a minimum of 1200 calories. I want,to know if anyone has had lost weight eating unhealthy foods as long as it it in your required calorie intake. I do not want to eat under my required intake so I am wondering if i could throw high calorie foods to complete intake goal????? current weight 260 goal weight 160... thanks

I eat pretty much anything I want, within reason, and stay under my calorie goal. I'm about where you are too, so I know the feeling. I don't go TOO crazy. I have cut out soda completely, and I use Splenda rather than sugar. I would suggest walking as much as you can, if you don't already, it will burn off the extra calories. Stick with it, you can do this!

I have trouble eating my calories most of the time as well on days that I don't exercise. The days I do are a nightmare because it typically adds between 500 to 1000 calories more to my already daily count. I just pick foods I enjoy eating and each a healthy portion, because as you know it is about portion control as well as making healthier choices. So depending upon what you are eating I would suggest not eating high fattening foods but bulking your snacks or meals more. For example spend the calories on regular bread instead of low calorie bread. Just my thought I am not a dietitian.
  • Thank you ladys for answering my question. GOOD LUCK YOU BOTH! : )
