I know many people like to listen to music while they run.
What are some of your favorite songs to run to?

I don't have a specific song that I like but I downloaded the app Fitradio and it gives you a great mix of music for a lot of different genres so you can always find music you like. I highly recommend it.0

I did the entire c25k program using a playlist of All of Breathe Carolina's music. Almost every song has an up tempo beat and I also like the "angry voice" they do. Sometimes I need that screaming to kick my rear in gear.
I tried pandora's "hip hop power workout" and it was just so-so for me. Some songs were too slow and the commercials are a buzzkill.0 -
Thank god for this thread! My iphone died and took my running list with it  :explode: :sad:0

Don't know what you listen to, but here's my "workout mix" --
Supernatural - Daughtry
Bad Girlfriend - Theory of a Deadman
19 & Crazy - Bombshell
Look What the Cat Dragged In - Poison
Crutch - Theroy of a Deadman
Fight Like a Girl - Bombshell
Brooklyn - Buckcherry
Blister in the Sun - Violent Femmes
Live Like We're Dying - Kris Allen
Crazy B!tch - Buckcherry
Talk Dirty to Me - Poison
Some are repeated because of the tempo and I know I will need it to get me back at a good pace. 19 & Crazy is about 4mph -- I used to walk before I took up running. :laugh:0 -
I've got quite a lot of music on my running playlist, but these ones always make me smile, which seems to make running easier:
Dire Straits, Twisting By The Pool (just a fun song)
The Jam, In The City (I'm a child of the 70s and grew up listening to The Jam)
Simon and Garfunkel, The Boxer (brings back memories of a ridiculously crazy night out on a uni field trip)
The Proclaimers, There's A Touch (anything by The Proclaimers is great to run to but this is my favourite)0 -
I'll have to check them out.0

As much as i liked Fitradio at the time of my first post I can now say I LOVE Songza 100 times more!! its a free app that has the best music!! I can highly recommend it! Not only is it an app but you can also go to songza.com and listen to the music on your computer. Its got a lot of playlist that you can customize according to what you're doing (driving, relaxing, exercising etc) and then pick a genre and voila! you've got the music you're in the mood for right then!!0
