Ran the wrong day - now what?

So.....I've been in Week 4 since the beginning of April. I've completed successfully 5 times but never twice in a row. I tend to get to the last running interval and die off after two minutes or so.
I set out today and accidently ran Week 5 Day 1. I had changed my route, hoping to shake loose of the plateau, and I thought the half way mark was off but I did as told. Went great - no problems.
So do I go back to Week 4 or stay in Week 5? That 20 minute run seems out of reach from here, although it might be easier on level ground, such as a track rather than in the neighborhood.

Stay at week 5. Honestly, it sounds like you are more scared of it, than not being ready for it. If you have been doing week 4 for several weeks now, it is time to move up and challenge youself some more. It is obvious you can do the first few days of week 5, and if that is what you end up having to do and then bringing in W5D3 in a few weeks, then that is what you have to do.
BTW, W5D3 is only 4 minutes longer run than on W4D3, the only difference is that it is put together. Do not be afraid of a challenge, you might suprise yourself.0 -
Seriously? You completed Week 5 Day 1. That means that you are ready for Week 5 Day 2.
I'm really happy you screwed up the day, because it sounds like you NEEDED the feedback to move on.
Great job for completing the run!0 -
I would stay in week 5. I think the universe was telling you something when you accidentally picked it!0
