End of semester breakdown

Anyone else experiencing the frantic end of semester breakdown in their diet? Mine started about a month ago because it all compounded exponentially and I've just been desperately trying to keep up! It tends to supersede my diet and exercise regiment. Anyone else out there in the same boat? Have any suggestions? Please note that I have tried to stay on top of my work consistently and this is not a call for a procrastination lecture. It just happens. Now it's 12-16 hour days, crappy food and little sleep. How do you cope?

I fell off the path too a while ago. I was so sad my counter reset. I am just now up to 20 consecutive days and its been hard I just want food like candy and brownies (lol or thats PMS talking haha). Working full-time and taking my 2 grad classes sure keeps me busy, so I am in the same boat.
What I have recently found to work is we make quick meals or a slow cooker. Sometimes just an egg sandwich for dinner or the low fat low calorie turkey hot dogs. For snacks I eat a lot of fruit, mainly apples and bananas since they are easy to carry around. I also love gold fish crackers and they are not too bad for you either. POP Chips is a new thing I found, they are really good. I have only had the original flavor, but when adding salsa they are really good for a light snack. I try to force myself to exercise at least 5 times a week and if I cannot exercise I do not go over my calorie count. When you don't have time to make a big meal, just have healthy snacks. Oh and I also run on the elliptical when I watch tv sometimes, then I get the break to watch tv and I am exercising at the same time!

I make a pot of soup or something in the crockpot on sundays to bring with me to school. I pack it all up on sunday so In the morning I can just grab a tupperware and go. Also snacks high in fat (good fat--avocadoes, nuts etc) keep me fuller longer and don't give me the sugar spike and crash quite like fruit. Try and make sure you get a really good breakfast to get your day started on the right foot. Often times, a extra hard workout will motivate me to stay on track.
But I feel ya on the finals week. I feel like everything is crashing down a little on me and there's not enough time to get it done. gahhhh.

Last semester I made smoothies as quick meals or snacks because they were high in nutrition. Other than that I would do some yoga after doing studying or homework because it helped me relax and my body feel better. I get a stiff back from sitting too long. Other than that I don't pay much attention to diet but now I don't eat as much crap as I used to so it's not a huge deal, fruits are fast food0

Something about studying or writing makes me want to snack. I managed to stay under my calorie goals finals week, but I fell off my gym routine.0

I found that the snacking was only a problem at home when food was available. If food was not near by I didnt need it as much.
However the brain uses most of our energy I think so when studying you are putting your brain through its paces.0
