New to the Group

Hey Ladies!

I am Erica. I am not new to MFP but I am just restarting my fitness journey. 3rd week into it. I am not weighing in for at least 30 days from my last weigh in because I do not want to get discouraged or distracted. I want to stay focused on "MY WHY". My why is I love myself enough to care about my health. I lost my mother June 2012 to breast cancer and she was only 51. She passed 17 days after being diagnosed. I don't want my mom's story to be mine so I quit smoking 8 months ago and have been trying to make healthier choices.

It is May and this will be my first mothers day without my mom. I am going to try and use the emotions to fuel my workouts instead of using them as an excuse to eat junk and drink bottles of wine (lol). I don't want to take steps backwards. So I may need some support. Please feel free to add me. Thanks :)
