Is it okay to do weights and cardio the same day?

Should they be ideally different days?

I sometimes to both, the cardio tends to be hiit on those days prob just 5 mins working 40:20 after my lifting session.

I sometimes do both, but I have spin at lunchtime, then weights in the evening

I do different days...unless it's walking, then I do same day. My legs are dead after lifting in the morning, I can't run or do anything like that on the same day. Heck, sometimes not even the day after! But I guess everyone's body repsonds differently. :)

I think it's ok. I tend to dedicate one day to each just because I like to focus on a particular workout.

Totally up to you! For me, my weight-lifting days completely deplete my energy resources so I don't do cardio on my weight-lifting days.

I do cardio after my weight training otherwise I don't perform as well lifting! And I never do cardio on leg days, unless it's a short sprint on the bikes because that will help build those muscles up too!

I think most people split sessions, so weights in the morning and cardio in the evening etc etc. I think it doesn't really matter as long as you don't do cardio before (read that somewhere once...something to do with energy being taken from the muscles, especially if you haven't had enough to fuel you beforehand food wise)
