Good day to all my fellow C25K participants.
Today after work I will be doing W6D2 of the C25K. Each time I do a day or go for a walk, I open my Charity Miles so money will also be donated to an organization of my choice. The app is free and if you walk/run, $.25/mile goes to the charity you choose for that time.
Since the Boston Marathon, I have been donating my walks/runs to Archilles so my support will go to Boston. I got an email this morning saying they are doing a virtual 10K for the One Fund Boston thanks to Lifeway's support. You pay $25 for registration and a shirt and $7 for shipping (I'm in California), and you have about 2 weeks (May 12th) to complete a total of 10K. Then if you do, they send out your tee-shirt May 12/13th.

This is a great way to help out those who got injured on that day. Even if you don't/can't put the money in to register for the 10K, I believe everyone should at least add the free CharityMiles app so they can help out all these organizations that can help others.
