Bent-over rows - halp!

I've been doing the All Pro Beginner's lifting routine for two cycles now (10 weeks, with dumbbells). In that time I've progressed on all the lifts - EXCEPT the bent-over rows. They are just as hard now as they were 10 weeks ago - when I'm at my max reps (12) there's a lot of body english going to get the last few reps. :grumble: Heck, even at 8 reps there's body english :grumble: :grumble: :grumble:

I don't know if this is generally a particularly hard lift, or maybe my form is off, or...??? Is there anything I can try? Is there a complementary muscle group I should be strengthening to help? Does anyone have tips?

For starters I think you should post a video to the video critique thread and lets have some people take a look at it to rule out any technical issues.

This. Without knowing more, my guess is that you're not engaging enough back muscles.

This. OP you're most likely using your arms instead of engaging your back muscles to perform the movement which is causing you not to progress.
