A merge of the current Workout 1/Workout 2 for a longer Weekend Warrior style challenge. The goal was to mix the two workouts allowing for strength training while keeping the heart-rate up. Appox. time: 35-45 minutes.
WARM-UP:

Done. Loved the new moves.
Zumbaforever did a great job putting this together. Hopefully I'll get to join in the weekly challenge soon.
I did most to failure as I got used to this doing P90X Arms and Shoulders to keep building.
20 lb. sandbag on the squats (Whoa Nelly)
8 lb. kettlebell twist on the Russion Twists (nice way to incorporate some twisting)
8 lb. lunges X 20 total (OUCH, last few I didn't go all the way down)
10 half, 10 whole pushups. I've lost some steam on these!
10 lb rows, failed at 20, adjust weight somehow
10 lb curls failed at 10
10 lb Arnolds, failed at 12 Hmmm.
8 lb. Squats w twist, 20 rep
8 lb. flys, failed at 10
10 lb kickback pumps, failed at 20 (OUCH! She was right about the pumps!)
Planks, 60 sec side 1, 60 sec middle, 45 sec side two (note to start on opp side next time) I've been working on these lately
20 lb. sandbag pull-throughs. First time for these. Saw them this week. Loved the ab/core pull feel to these! A keeper.

Nice job Joan. I will have to look up the sandbag pull throughs. No clue on that. I love add-ons the pulse to kick backs, keeps the muscles working the whole time. Did you manage to keep your feet up during the Russian twists? If so awesome. Weights are easy to add to lunges. Just add one in each hand, your sandbag or a bar with weight.0

Oops, got side tracked and closed it early. Lol. Anyway Joan I will have the increases put in tomorrow for the second challenge. Your twist on the two will be great when someone is needing to catch up from missing a day. . You did good, have a great nite.

Ooh, I've heard about the feet up...I think I was doing a squat with twist...now I remember how Russian twist goes! Lol. I added in strong's 5X5s that I may have missed later, just a set of bech presses and dead lifts w the sandbag...I'm sore today! I like sore...means I accomplished something! Trying to decide whether to get my run in and stretch, or call it a week.1
