Am I training correctly?

I am currently on week 2 day one and I realized I may be running for the wrong amount of time. It says:

Brisk five-minute warmup walk. Then alternate 90 seconds of jogging and two minutes of walking for a total of 20 minutes.

So my question is: Is 20 minutes including the 5 minute warm up walk or not?

    According to the app I use the total duration is 31mins which includes warm-up and cool-down walks :)

    I think the warm up / cool down walks are in addition to the runs? I can't quite remember, but I still do a 1/4 mile walk before and after my runs and I think that's where I got the habit.

    The warm ups and cool downs are in addition to the 20 minutes of run/walk times. The total time is 30 minutes.
