Switching the Order of the Stages?

Has anyone done the stages in a different order? It took me a while but I am finally finishing up Stage 1. I haven't joined a gym yet but want to keep pushing on - Stage 3 seems to be more dumbbell exercises that would be easier for me to do in my apartment gym and then hopefully in the next few weeks I can look into a joining a gym and go back to Stage 2 after i'm done with Stage 3 - any thoughts on whether this would mess with the results of the program?

    I really skipped stage 2 and went to 3 because I wanted to lower reps to be honest. I work out at home and have no intentions of going to the gym- ill make do with what I have.
