Is it worth it to pay for this? What weight range would you do it at?

With calipers I am estimating around 26.75%, Fit2Fat says 27.75% right now at 174lbs. I am thinking maybe one now, and one around 155-160 (my original goal weight was 160) and then tweak from there?

Or is it really not worth the money? I found a gym that allows non members to use it, but is almost $100 for 2 sessions.

My gym has one too but it was $35 for once session. It gives you your body fat percentage that then you can use to calculate your RMR and your TDEE more accurately. I have a Omron Body Fat Loss Monitor which I got off of amazon for around $30 and it was pretty close to what the bodpod said. While it's interesting to know your body fat percentage I didn't find it particularly helpful.

Yeah I had a handheld but due to being very pear shaped I have not even close to even BF distribution, I actually have difficulty in using calipers on my thighs due to the muscle on my legs as well.

Maybe just doing a 1 session to see if my messurements are closer to accurate would work too, not sure. I am more interested too though so I can set a realistic "goal weight" as knowing my current actual BF% can change my goal up to around 10lbs actually.

Check your local universities to see if you can find any body composition testing done for free. Two of my city's colleges offer various types for free.

Yeah I am over an hour from Philly, and to be honest would rather stab myself then drive in that city. Argh! lol
