TGIF! PUSH yourself is exactly what I will need to do today! I have a lower body workout scheduled and will get started as soon as I post. I'll have to come back and share my thoughts about it...lol.
Toni: I cut my hair the weekend our grand boys and family visited and it feels so nice to have one less thing to worry with. I cut my hair very short every so many years, but, this time around it is a keeper. What a wonderful time and great walk you had with your mom on yesterday! You are such a GOOD daughter.
Julie: Good for you on great food choices. That area is still a challenge for me especially in the snack department. I know "if you don't buy it it won't be in the house"...LOL! Oh well....still a work in progress.
Sam: looks like you enjoy the Yoga class :happy:
Sherry: I get tired at the end of doing the P90X exercises :laugh: I really love the strength DVDs in that program. I do want to find an effective but FUN cardio DVD soon. I think that you should try using the bands as a modified way of doing pull-ups/chin-ups.
I read about your "breakthrough" with regards to your running!!! Your body crossed another threshold and is getting stronger!!

HEYYYYY!!! TGIF!!!
Had a busy busy day so far, but got a fair amount of walking in (I only log a fraction of all the walking I do around this city...shopping, to playgrounds, etc) and also got a nice 40minute run done. It felt GREAT! I would have loved to have kept going, but as I passed by the playground, I saw my husband changing a diaper and his nerves looked frayed, so I decided to call it done at 40. Gonna try to get some more HG exercises done this evening, since I didn't get any done this morning.
Lovin' the cool overcast days we've had for a couple days now--perfect for being outdoors--and I hope it will stay this way just a little bit longer before one of the infamous Athens heat waves hits this Summer.

Well I was busy at work again today but I got the energy to run 6 miles at 5pm. I am so happy with my time I shaved off a minute on my PACE!!!! Tomorrow I am going to try to get a run in during my lunch at work.
Sherry: great job on the run and that you were felt like you were able to continue! Keep on running it gets easier as you keep at it believe me!
Pam: I absolutely love the new hairdo! I wish I could have short hair but it doesn't suit me. Hope you had a great lower body workout! Do a couple of reps for me please I hate working my lower body!

Went on a 30 minute walk/jog with my dog and hubby. Will probably do some yoga later. Good to be back!0
