HUGE arms!

I have heard that lifting heavy weights doesn't make women bulk up. But since starting Chalean Extreme, my arms have become bigger then they were before. There's definitely less jiggle..but they seem pretty huge and quite a few people have noticed. Plus, my clothes are super tight at my upper arms.
Though I like a bit of definition in my arms, this seems a bit too much and I feel man-like! :P Is there any way to stop this from happening? My upper body tends to store more fat than my lower body..so the effect of huge arms makes things worse. Is this happening to anyone else?
Look forward to hearing your thoughts on this! Thanks in advance!

My arms aren't huge but definitely bigger...shirts are tight. I'm a little concerned cause I sure dont want big arms but am being patient to see whether they will get smaller as the fat diminishes. If not, I'm in trouble...I hope some replies to this question will shed some light on what if anything we should be doing differently. BTW, I'm new to "real" lifting, @ 2 months in. Prior to that did most light weights, kettle bells, body weight resistance type stuff.0

When I first started lifting, my arms got bigger, but as I've lost fat they have gotten smaller again. Now they just look much more muscular and less flabby (note: still flabby. just less! I have a lot of fat left to lose.).0

Thanks for the replies! Its a relief to know that my arms will probably get smaller! Will see how it goes!0

Newbie lifting will result in water storage and retention. This is temporary. If you are female and eating below your TDEE maintenance level (a deficit % cut) and not taking HGH you will not bulk. Water is needed for the micro tears in your muscles for the repair process. This is sometimes experienced as DOMS or Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. The water will deplete, you will get toner and the fat will decrease. Your body is reshaping itself. The heavier you lift the better results you will see.0

This, keep at it and hopefully things will settle down, it did for me. Best of luck and hope you'll get the results you want.0 -
My arms got bigger at first too, but now they're smaller than they were before I started lifting! Keep at it and be patient. :flowerforyou:0
