Hi Anyone Primal who eats lots of cheese? How does it affect your weight? I was paleo but gone primal to get more calcium in and my kids are primal plus hubby LOVES cheese so he's happy to go back to it. But how much is too much?

I love cheese, I know it affects me. My hubby it has no effect on hes gone off it and no noticiable differene. Mine is a weight loss thing when I eat cheese it slows down my weight loss, when I don't eat it I lose faster and more consistently. But I am not losing right now so I am eating it, I eat it at least once a day (hard cheese), sometime I do eat more than on serving depending on whats on the menu. Same with cottage cheese, I do try to use that as my once a day either or but that doesn't always happen.0

I think cheese might be a culprit for me as well.
I have decided to go off for the next two weeks and see how it impacts my weight loss.
I wasn't eating much for the last year or so and then recently I added in a lot more and I think it's catching up to me now.
I did a whole 30(45) last summer and when I went back on to dairy I noticed it was seriously congesting me,0 -
I eat cheese once/day. Mymid-morning snack is white cheddar and strawberries today
I have been known to melt a few ounces and eat it as well... for shame.... my weight loss has been great but I stay under 1900 calories/day0 -
It's very high calorie and high sodium, so you have to be conscious of that. Older, fermented cheeses are definitely easier to process for anyone who is lactose-intolerant, as much of the lactose has been consumed by the bacteria.0

Thanks for that, I may go buy some... I was allergic as a young child to milk... I learned to tolorate it, kind of but enjoy it to much to give it up.0
