I did week 7d2 a week ago Sat and have been sick since the following Monday. It's been in my lungs 6 days now, and I am starting to feel better. Still coughing a lot, but very little wheezing. Think I can head back tomorrow and if so, I'm thinking about doing W7D3.
All opinions appreciated.

Honestly, when you are sick and coming back from recovery you are supposed to scale down until you are completely better. If I were you I would restart week 7. That way you are still mantaining the fitness level but you are at the same time scaling down slightly.

I'd restart week 7 too, unless you have an urgent reason to graduate 3 days early.

Thanks, I still have 5 weeks til my race. I've wanted to start running outside anyway, so maybe I'll even go back to 6 and try that outdoors. I'm feeling like it will be Friday b/f I can start again. Stupid crap in my lungs...

Wait until you don't have productive coughs. I'm sorry you're going through this!

I'm on meds now for lungs and sinus infections. It's hard. Just scale back to whatever you can do now, and start building again when you feel better. My running and swimming have taken the biggest hit with this illness. I can still lift weights and take spin classes.

I would just take brisk walks.. I tried running with a cough and it was horrible.

Don't push yourself. Wait until you get 100% first.

Im just over a sickness and I stopped at w7d1! So we have each other to start back up with :)

I hated to lose ground and I tried to do it anyway but the first time I couldnt even walk more than 10 mins. The second time I ran 12 and that was all i could do but I walked the rest of the way.

Today I'm feeling pretty well again and I started back at w7d1. I ran 25 mins at about the same pace I had been going before, so I'm going to pick up here.

Take your time getting well. Your body'll let you know if its too soon ;)
Then join me restarting week 7!
