Hi lifters!
So I am trying to stay very committed to logging EVERYTHING. However, lunch is often a problem because the attorneys in my firm go out to eat - and not to chains that have nutritional information online.
Today, we went to an Italian place. I got the "breadless boat" which is basically breadless meatballs, sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms in tomato sauce, and a side salad. ANY ideas on how to log this???
THANKS!

Find substitutions for the menu items you ate. The USDA has some generic restaurant foods in it, but if it isn't in there I tend to use other restaurants who DO have nutritional info as substitutes. I try to select something as close as possible, if I am off I try to overestimate.
Barring that, I will find what I ate as if I made it and then add calories until it sounds like it would be a restaurant amount. If I don't have time for all the nonsense, I chock it up to a cheat meal and quick add calories lol.0 -
sounds like meatballs in a tomato sauce, to me....that's how I'd log it. (I wouldn't worry about whether the meatballs were "breadless" or not.)0
