I was going to the gym for a little while at night after my daughter went to bed when it was quiet and didnt have to wait to use equipment and loved it. I could work at my own pace. Awesome. Then my gym closed :-( Never really tried a another placeSo I recently started taking an adult karate class where my daugher goes (Moms are free for May!!! Who doesnt love free??) AnywayI was worried i would look like a dumb *kitten* and just plain stupid doing it. But its great!!! My instructor pushes me but in a good way. The other parents are so encouraging and helpful. I come home sore but look forward to the next class. What exercise works best for you. And with a partner or without?

When I first started, I would use the treadmill and the bike. I tried the elliptical, but could only go about 5 minutes before I had to give it up. Now, the elliptical is my go to machine for cardio. I do about 30 minutes or so, then do a slow 20 minutes on the bike. If I start getting bored with that, I will switch it up.
As for with a partner or without, I prefer without, so I can just put on my music and zone out. But sometimes with a friend is nice, as it helps the time go by. But I don't go nearly as hard if someone else is there.
