Snack Attack!

I have a 5 month old baby boy (my 3rd) and I have not lost anything since I was 1 month postpartum. My problem is that I am constantly starving! I need some new lo-cal and easy snacks I can bring with me to work. Any ideas? Something more interesting than carrot sticks would be nice.

  • I would not go for low cal snacks as most of those will leave you yet again starving. Try balancing out your daily cal intake so that you have more protein in your diet. Protein will keep you full longer and in many cases give you what you need as a bf mom. Low fat cottage cheese with cinnamon on top will give you calcium and protein, nuts with give you vitamins, peanutbutter on celery or apple slices is very good at being filling and is nutrient rich.
