I just want to suggest Water aerobic classes for exercise. You can do things in the water that you would never dream of doing on land. It is not necessary to be able to swim because they are done in shallow water. Super for those with arthritis, overweight, post surgical, recovering from injury.....
Check your local community ed or pool facilities. In Grand Haven, there are several classes available morning and evening at the GH high school.
