So, I've been mucking about recently with lists... top stouts, sours.. etc. I have my own personal faves, I'm sure you all do to.

So what are your top 10 beers. Not restricted to style/availability/whatever. If you could pick 10 damned good beers to keep in your fridge/cellar, what would they be?

  • I cannot say these are my top 10 of all time but they are 10 that I would happily drink right now. I just finished a run and have a serious need for a frothy beverage. With that said...

    Stone IPA
    Pliny the Elder
    Gouden Carolus Tripel
    Two Hearted
    Hop Slam
    Arrogant *kitten*
    Dogfish 90
    Green Flash West Coast IPA
    Edmund Fitzgerald Porter
    Old Leg Humper

Now off to drink one of the above

Samael is my wife's favorite. I've only got 3 or 4 left from last year's release. It should be back out pretty soon right?

Also ever since I saw Olde Hickory Event Horizon I've really wanted to try it. It was the only movie that I know of that gave my wife nightmares.

The only Bud product I like is the Bud Light Chelada. I don't care if it's nasty, it's delicious. I pick up a couple of tall boys of it every once in a while.

This is a difficult task, but the following are the first ones that come to mind (not in any specific order):

    Stone Arrogant *kitten*
    Stone Smoked Porter
    Guinness
    Sam Adams Octoberfest
    Rohrbach Scotch Ale
    Pyramid Snow Cap Ale

I may need to give Delirium Tremens another chance. Knowing how well thought of it is I really tried to like it but it just didn't do it for me. And I really like Belgian ales in general. The Delirium Nocturnum was very good. The Tremens just came off as pale and lame. At some point I'll try it again.
