I joined MFP 1 month ago and I went low carb to get better control of my Type 2 diabetes. After 1 month my monitor has my 30 day blood glucose average as...wait for it...97! And I lost 10 pounds.
In that time the highest reading I got was 146 and the lowest 61. There were 3 days when my highest reading was in the mid 90's. My endocrinologist put me on 8 units of Humulin-N and I have been on that for about a year.
I am going to try and see if I can do this for another month
