Hi all!
Just wondering if I should be cutting 15% or 20% from my TDEE. I was cutting 15% because I was doing intense cardio 6 days a week. I have changed things up a bit a couple of months ago. Now I do 3 days of cardio (Zumba, Turbofire) and 3 days of Cathe lifting dvds one week. The next week I do the same cardio and body pump dvds 3 days a week. Each week I rest one day.
Thanks!

How far are you from your goal weight? As you get closer to goal the cut should be smaller.0

Lifting along with good amount of protein does allow you to take a steeper deficit with no problem losing muscle mass.
But the other part of the selection is amount to lose to a healthy weight/body fat.
Less to lose means bigger deficit is just more stressful, and that will make the fight harder.0 -
I used to go with a 20% cut but now I go with a 15% cut, mainly because I fear losing lean muscle mass while trying to lose weight. In the past, I'd experience such a large deficit that I would get stuck. After this happening quite a few times, I finally decided to just go with a 15% cut and the weight started to fall off again (or should I say, the FAT started burning off again!)0
