Is anyone here a fan of the Breeds series by Lora Leigh? It's a paranormal series about humans who were genetically engineered to have animal DNA ,so while they look human, they have increased physical and mental abilities that pure humans don't. The Breeds aren't shapeshifters though.
I know Lora Leigh's books in that series are a hit or miss. Some books are great, but others you just want to toss in the trash bin.
My favorites in the series - Dawn's Awakening and Mercury's War.
