Back at it after 1 month off

I hate to admit it, but I haven't been doing my C25K for about a month. First, I was sick, then it was a rough TOM for me, then I went on vacation. I just started exercising again today with a brisk 4 mile walk, but I want to get back to running. I had completed W4D2 successfully prior to stopping. I don't think I would be successful at picking up where I left off...does anyone have any suggestions as to how far back I should go to ease myself back into it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'd start at the beginning and skip days if they are too easy for you. My experience is that every time I back off an aggressive running goal to one that seems "too easy," I have more fun, get motivated and start kicking some butt.
And WELCOME BACK!0 -
I had to stop for about a month as well at the same location as you due to being sick, having a sick child, vacation, etc. I just started completely over on Sunday. I wiped out the old data from my phone and started over. W1D1 was super easy but I didn't want to skip it, I wanted to build myself back up again.0

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I will do it. I know I'll feel good easily finishing the first few weeks. :-)0

Hi, I've just started again after a couple of months off. I had got as far as completing week 6 day 1 before stopping due to illness then bad weather etc. I debated for ages where to start again but decided last night to do week 1 day 1 to see how I got on. I'm glad I started at the beginning again as I found it a bit hard although I think I pushed myself harder than first time around. I plan to continue following the days as they are now. Good luck to you!0

I'm inspired by you all on here who have the strength to restart the program after falling off. I want to start again as well, as soon as I get over this cold. You guys are awesome.0

I'm back at it after a week of being sick, so I'm just back-tracking a week from where I was - good luck to you!0

I have also decided to start fresh. I went on a long kayaking trip a few weeks ago, came home exhausted, sun burnt, and covered head to toe in mosquito bites. I spent a week on the couch, miserable and sluggish from benadryl. I have gone out a few times since, but it's not the same, I lost my rhythm. I'm starting back at week two tomorrow and have my app set to free run/walk at the end so that I can go longer and track it if I feel up to it. Good luck and happy running!0

Well, I FINALLY started again...at week one. It actually was pretty easy! I had to improvise for the last couple of jogs, though, because my husband called and for some reason it stopped the app. I might have to break down and get a paid app instead of a free one. Any suggestions?0

I used the Radiant Tap one.0
