I'd recommend
Part 1
8 weeks of "Conditioning Program" doing the walking only, no jogging
http://www.jeffgalloway.com/training/condition.html
Part 2
8 weeks of "Conditioning Program" again, but do the "Run/Walk" portions. Buy a www.GymBoss.com
http://www.jeffgalloway.com/training/condition.html
From there you can follow with the
5K training plan

Then the
10K training plan
http://www.jeffgalloway.com/training/5k.html#10k
And if you want to keep going
Half Marathon Training

Wow! Thanks for those links! I checked them out, and they look great. I am in pretty bad shape for me, but I think that I should be able to start with the Walk/Run portion, rather than just the Walking. I have joined 2 challenges: lose 15 for Christmas, and a November push-up challenge. I think this will definitely help with both of those! It will help lose the weight, which will help make those push-ups easier!
Thanks again!
