Hiya! Think I'm good to go to join in August! I am going to go for 75 miles. I don't want to push 100 and get injured again.. not yet!! Missed you all in July!0

I have a trip planned in August (during week three of half marathon tx) so I'm only going to say 65 miles. If I can get a few days running on vacay I'll let you know if I need my target increased.0

So glad to see that people returning for anohter month, it will be inspring - my goal will be a 100, but many of those miles will be cross training on an ARC because something happened to my right foot about 2 weeks ago - My left foot's achilles just heeled and then something happend to my right foot --- GRRR.
I guess dealing with injuries is just part of a runners life. Going for a second opinion tomorrow. As I mentioned - I will still go on the ARC but it is not as fun as doing the 'real' thang. Can't wait to go on the road again, even if the temperature is still steaming.0 -

I too, am in a similar posistion with my calf muscle. . Having to do less road running and more Xtrainer, rowing and cycling. (running machine of course aswell!!) Good luck wih the injuries, tis frustrating, but as you say, part of a runners life!!0

I'll keep my August goal at 75 miles for August... and strive to achieve it. It's so dang hot and humid down here in FL, it's hard for me to get my runs in!! Most of my runs lately have been short -- 3-5 miles!0
