Yesterday cooked my first whole chicken (ever in my life!) . I spatchcocked it (of course), covered in rub, and cooked on the charcoal grill with indirect head and a foil pack of applewood chips.
Bad photo, but here it is.
ETA: I am currently simmering the carcass, bones, and skin with some carrots, onion, celery, parsley, and thyme, for my first-ever stock.0 -

Not my best work, but I don't often take pictures when I'm grilling. Tri-tip roast. It makes me sad that many people haven't heard of or tasted a good one.
