When you are bulking up muscle, how much do you gals usually gain? plan to stick to my same program (low fat / high protien) Just uping my calorie intake, with the exception of possibly adding a casein protien at night - but trying to research before i start (approx eta 9.17.12)

What are your end goals? Fitness, strength, bikini model? What are your plans for carbs? And how long do you plan to bulk? I think a bulk phase is usually about a month or 6 weeks, but I'm not entirely sure. I gained a couple pounds during the bulk phase of the Jamie Eason LiveFit Trainer, which was about 6 weeks.0

It is a cycle of bulking and cutting right? Since I want to do a clean bulk, I might make it longer, since I won't put on as much.0

i believe it will be what is referred to as a clean bulk. I am sticking to my high protien, low fat, moderate carbs diet. just eating more calories.. i'll gradually go up b/c i'm not 100% convinced i need 2000 to maintain - so i'm gunna start around 1500 (plus workout calories) and watch my progress...
I will cycle my calories tho, on days i don't lift (w,sat & sun) i'll eat maint. level calories - don't want to load up when i'm not making use of the calories. and higher calories on workout days.
so i think i'll be doing it for at least 6 wks, maybe 12 - depending upon how i develop. my goal is fitness model / bikini model figure - currently my ribs stick out more than my abs (tho i can see my ab muscles well) and i'd like that to be offset a bit...0 -
