Ok, I did a search on this but couldn't find the answer. How should I track my daily Insanity workout for the exercise calorie credits ? What type of exercise should I choose to track it?
Thanks

I use a heart rate monitor that counts calories based on my target heart rate. Its usually around 600 cal for me.
This is the one I have, I caught on sale local for $30

Definitely use a heart monitor. It is the best way to track your own calories and will be more accurate than the estimates from MFP, especially on Insanity workouts. There are too many variables to have an estimate work for everyone. You don't have to get the entire strap/watch combo either. I've had one in the past, but recently went to the Polar Wearlink Bluetooth HRM.
I use this in conjunction with the iCardio app from digifit.com The Android version is here: http://tinyurl.com/8slsoaz and it is available for iPhone as well.
This is the link for the HRM at Amazon. http://tinyurl.com/bmvbxzc
The one really nice thing about using it is that it counts time calories, time in ranges, etc. Both the app and the website produce graphs to track your progress and show you those ranges. If you run or cycle it will use your phone's GPS to track mileage as well.

Great ideas, I can see now I should be using the monitor to do this. Will check out the app, thanks

Thats exactly how I do it. Just add it as custom0 -
Same here. I've had some of the earlier workouts hit over 700. That has been dropping and the last two workouts my average HRM has been about 7 beats lower and I'm nearly recovering in the breaks rather than hitting pause and waiting for it to come down.0

You can create your own workouts just like food however you need a HRM. Like yesterday. MFP over estimates my burn by sometimes 50%. Get a HRM.0
