Do you run every day or just run longer?

I have been running three times a week like the program tells you to. I am about to graduate so I was thinking maybe it was time to try running more days. Does anyone run every day? Or is it better to just continue lengthening my runs? Or both?

I'd like to know the answer to this for my future.0

I would not recommend running every day. You are much more likely to get injured if you don't give your body time to heal/rest. Don't rush and listen to what your body tells you. Glad you are doing so well!0

If you have almost graduated the program, you are probably ok to add a couple extra running days in. I am just starting week 9, and I've added two additional running days. So now I run 5x a week, and alternate shorter, faster runs with longer, paced runs. Typically, depending on my schedule, I will run Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs and Sat, but it varies. I also try to hit the gym at least twice a week for strength.
I think it's important to have at least 1 or 2 rest days a week though to recoup.0 -
I have been running everyday to get my stamina up. I am on Week 5. Last week Mon and Tues I did Week 5 day1, Wed - Fri and again this morning, I did Week 5 day 2. I will probably do Week 5 day 2 tomorrow also, and then try the 20 min run for Week 5 day 3 on Wed. That 20 min run really has me nervous.0

I wouldn't run more than 4 days a week. Your body needs rest. On off days I do strength training or circuit training. The key to becoming a better runner is to work on those core and leg muscles too!0
