WW Points?

I did Weight Watchers and was successful at first but that tapered off after a couple weeks. i understand the points are calculated according to the nutrients but does anyone know how "points" compare to calories? I was allowed 26 points per day but I'm wondering how that translates into how many calories per day. I'm thinking maybe that may be the reason for my lack of weight loss after the first couple of weeks - i.e. 26 points = too many calories?

I have been on 26 points as well, been on WW since April. I have lost 26 pounds but now I am stuck in a plateau. I used MFP to calculate my calories at 26 points and it gave me between 1050 and 1200 almost daily. MFP says I should have 1300, so it was pretty close. The problem with WW is fruits are free foods and full of sugar, natural but still sugar so it would really stall my weight loss. Also, I started to feel bad from the lack of fat and all the chemicals involved in eating fat-free and sugar-free foods, also my protein was constantly low according to MFP. I have changed some things, gone back to non=chemical foods and suck up the points and calories, I feel better after 2 weeks even though I still have not lost more weight. Hope this helps you
