thanks pkw58 - I weighed in today and that 5 day conference plus a weekend of company (and me giving up) cost me +3 lbs. But...yesterday was a better day (cheated with some cheese) and today will be even better.0

I started attack on Thursday, but didn't prepare properly for friday and ate off plan because of hunger! Got back on on friday evening and have been going strong since. Down 8 lbs since weighin on Thurs. I'm having a hard time eating more than 1000 cals per day and I definitely can't eat back my exercise cals....I'm just not hungry. I do get around 120g protein in per day and I take a multivitamin. I really like attack and am doing 10 days. Not sure how I'm going to do with cruise since I can't get my cals in with attack.
I'm not tired, even with the workouts. I eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full. Anyone else have the calorie problem?0 -
No, but I love protein! I am usually pretty close to 1200 calories per day - depending on the day. I did find on days that I ate chicken or fish as my main meal it was much harder to get in the calories. Cruise doesn't really change the calories much as you are just adding in veggies - so if anything your calories may go up slightly.0

You will do fine on cruise. Most of the vegetables are so low in calories.. I had a lot of trouble and continue to have trouble eating all my calories.. I am on stabilization now and it is still hard as I plan a cruise day with one or two things added for stabilization (mostly avocado, apple or nuts) . Seriously adverse to eating bread, pasta, rice or potatoes. I just get full on protein and greek yogurt. but i seriously missed vegetables like tomatoes, onions, spinach. Was really glad to get apples and avocados and berries back on consolidation!0 -
HI everyone. Well done to you all!
I am currently on cruise about 6 months in. My SW was 235lbs and my TW is 133lbs. I have lost 67lbs so far.
Good luck to all of you0 -

Hi, just started Dukan. Lost 6lb in 5 days attack going to start cruise today, like the idea of a day post if anyone else wants to restart the thread. Struggled last night, went out and allowed my self some booze which lead to carbs! But hope to be back on track today. Working nights all weekend so hoping to be busy and going to take a huge salad to nibble on instead of sweets and crisps! Will also take the trusted yoghurt and oat bran for breakfast. Who knew that was so tasty!!0

Hey raefost! I think the most amazing part of the Dukan plan is how my whole body really doesn't crave bread anymore … one thing I ate on cruise at night was dried beef jerky.. the lot fat version .. it was really chewy and after one piece the hunger just wasn't there.. drink water as the sodium level is a bit high. The good thing is it didn't need refrigeration.0 -
Hi there,
I'm a bit over a month on the dukan and I've already reached my halfpoint.
I know that my progress isn't going to be that impressive from now on but I'm still delighted that all the pain I was experiencing due to the baby weight is gone. My feet are not swollen, I can stand up from the floor without discomfort and my back isn't giving me any trouble after a night's sleep. I'm a new person!!!
My new goals are to do a bit better with water consumption, I do really suck at this. And to do some activity.0 -
Hi guys. I've been on dukan since May. I've lost all my weight, then went on to consolidation and pick up 5kg's again. So now I'm back in cruise, untill I lose the extra 5 again. But I've decided once I lose it to not add back all the things you should in consolidation, like the bread and the cheese etc. I do have one celebration meal a week, but not a whole three course meal, just one something, like one cupcake or something like that. And I miss fruit a lot, so if I crave sweets, I'll eat an apple or strawberries or something...
Congrats on all of you for losing so well!0 -
Hey Luzmidd,
I have added back either fruit or avocados back for 6 days a week, and have a cruise PP day one day a week. Somedays two to three servings.
I only eat hard cheese occassionally and in almost 10 months have had less than a handful of treats. Last week was my birthday week and I managed a lot better than I thought I would. I just feel better on cruise with the added fruits. Stabilization full - bore is not for me.
Sounds like you are on top of what you need to do! Congrats to you.0 -
I am on my first day of attack phase . OH BOY!
I am not hungry but I don't have any energy . I got a headache on mid day and still have it regardless of the 2 liters of water that I had. I know is just a phase and I know it is worth it but feels so good to be able to vent ..........I need to stay commited !
good luck to everyone out there in attack phase! and not only:)0
