Just completed day two of level one..those lunges in the strength circuit cained today, but it feels good!! Keep at it! (:0

I also did Level 1 Day 2 last night and I found it much harder than Day 1. Thankfully, my laptop died 2/3 of the way through circuit 2, so I got about a 10 minute rest before I started up again. But I did start up again and didn't give up, even though I wanted to.0

Today ll be day 3 for me (onnce my son falls asleep) and after the last 2 days im not sure I will be able to walk again lol.. She is kicking my butt big time, but with all the pain there has to be a great outcome in the end, so thats keeping me moving forward!!!0

Today was Day 3, Level 1 for me. My legs are SORE! It probably didn't help that I did a 3 mile run last night, after doing 30 DS yesterday morning, then doing 30DS this morning, too!! Tonight might call for a walk to warm up the muscles and some yoga tonight.

Just finished day 5 yesterday. Today is my rest day and then tomorrow I'm gonna finish the next 5 days of level 1.0

I was so sore yesterday! It hurt to breathe! Today was my 4 th day and the soreness is gone save for my legs. My primal grunts and gutteral sounds get me through. I am just happy that i started and that i am getting stronger by the day. How's it been for everyone else? Keep us posted!0

2nd day of 30 DS done...we are going out of town in the a.m., I'll be in the car the whole weekend, NO service, but I'll pick up where I left off on Monday! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!0

Just completed day 1 level 1. i'm so unfit and was sweating so much, can tell this workout will be good for my body. so glad i found this group, need lots of motivation to complete these 30 days.0

Also what weights is everyone using? ive only got 5lb weights in the house so ended up using tins for the time being as the weights were too heavy for me.0

Did day 2 today and it was much easier than day 1. I didn't take any breaks! I'm not doing the days consecutively, though. I took two days off from thirty day shred since I was running and going to the gym. Question! How do you guys log this workout on here?0

I'm using 2 pound weights.
I have the 2 pound weight but they were too light. I bought me 5 pounders. I can tell the difference. I'm burning more calories with the 5s.0 -
Completed Day 4, Level 1 yesterday. Today will most likely be a rest day; we're going to try to go either hiking or biking this afternoon.
As for weights, I use 3 lb. weights at my house and 5 lbs. at the fiance's house. I prefer the heavier weights for bicep moves and chest flys and prefer the lighter weights for any shoulder work (a weak area for me). I can only do the first set of side lunges with arm raises with 3 lbs. and have to go with no weights for the second set as of now. I'm hoping I can work up to completing all of them with at least the 3 lb. weights. I'll be sticking with 5 lbs. for the bicep stuff. Push ups are my nemesis right now....0 -
Today was day 2, level one for me and my legs are also very sore. I am also continuing with my regular treadmill, walking, elliptical and strength training work out as well. I am using 3 lb weights and determined to complete 30DS. I also am glad that I found this group as well.0

Sundays will be my rest days so tomorrow will be day 2 (level 1) for me. I am so sore:frown:0

Day 6, Level 1 is done!
For those of you feeling a lot of soreness, I can't stress enough how much doing lots of stretching has helped me. I feel NO soreness and have done 30 DS six days in a row, with a few other workouts sprinkled in. I love stretching videos - Recharge from the ChaLean Extreme set and Slim & Limber from the Slim in 6 set are my faves.

The last time I attempted 30DS, I used the calorie burn from my HRM and created my own exercise to log it. But, I've heard most people just log it under circuit training.0 -
Day 7 is done! I'll be done with Level 1 on Friday if all goes according to plan. Then, an half marathon on Saturday, rest day on Sunday and Level 2 starts on Monday!!0

Day 8, Level one is done! I'm not feeling soreness after my workouts anymore and I can do the entire workout with the 3 lb. weights; I can only do 1/2 of the side lunges with arm raise and squat overhead presses with the 5 lbs. Does anyone love the chest presses as much as I do?

The chest presses are the best. They do feel easy so I lay there with a big smile on my face enjoying the "break". I also love the punching. Lol0

level 1 day 7 is done. sore today from double workout yesterday. those pushups are my downfall. also those last bicycles get me too. I moved on to 2 pound weights today, but i think i will try 3 pounds out in the next 3 days.

I think I'll be increasing my weights as well. I started out with the 2lb weights, but the chest presses, rows and bicep curls are becoming way too easy. I think I'll get 5lb weights for those exercises and keep the 2lb weights for the stupid lunges!!!0 -

Day 9 done! I had to modify the cardio to non-impact moves (marching in place) because in a grand klutz move yesterday, I fell of a curb and rolled my ankle. It's pretty stiff and swollen this morning, so I figured jumping wasn't a good idea. But, I didn't let a sore ankle become an excuse to skip my workout and that a HUGE improvement for me!0
