7 days to break a habit. 21 days to make one

So the saying goes. So......
How about a new habit every 21 days?

So for example for the next 21 days everyone needs to drink 1.5 litres of water a day. (50ish ozs?)

What do you think? This way we make new habits which are good for us!!

Think I must be there as I drink quite a lot of herbal teas like nettle, dandelion, liquorice and ginger.

Nice idea, especially as I can tick this one off already! I drink about 2 litres of water a day. I don't drink much else, just a glass of OJ at breakfast and a cup of fruit or herb tea mid morning at work. I have the odd diet coke :noway: but try to avoid it, and the odd coffee - fewer than one a week.

what would you say the 8 cups that you put in MFP is? is that supposed to be the equivalent of 2 litres? if so i definitely get my 1.5litres everyday!

    I think 1 cup = 8oz, so yes 8 cups is roughly 2 litres.

*backs out slowly leaving full water bottle on the table*
  • They say 1 litre for every 10 degrees celsius of temperature is recommended, so in the summer and on hot days we should really be looking at up to 3 litres? And if exercising lots maybe even more?
