Which atheist website do you like the best, and why?
I think i have tried them all, and i just love AtheistUniverse.net,
as it tends to have a more mature crowd there, less high school kids ranting around and fighting with each other,
*sigh*
and more intellectuals there, some fascinating discussions,
and so so many subgroups, for every interest under the sun. (and some for interest groups beyond the sun, lol!)
Hard to go to AtheistUniverse, and NOT learn something! or leave feeling good and hopeful.
If anyone joins up AU, tell them Jean sent you, hee hee!!

I've always liked the Unfollowing Jesus website, if for nothing else, for a good hardy laugh! ^_^

Have any of you ever visited AtheistUniverse.net??
http://atheistuniverse.net/
That forum has tons of subgroups,
and some are several funny groups, joke groups, humor pages, one after the other. Hilarious stuff.
If it is comedy you seek, "your" kind of comedy, AtheistUniverse.net is a great place to visit, too!
Or, if it is info,
or a way to help you deal with theist families,
gain information, (on almost anything)
a way to explore expanding one's mindset from simply "godless" to an even larger worldview,
a place to discuss politics or current events,
a place to make pals allllllllll over the globe,
a place to discuss ANYTHING, well, AU does have a group for it!
(there are even several fitness groups on AU)
WHATEVER you are interested in, or feel like discussing that day, AU *is* a place it can be discussed with like minds,
among rational people.
Name a topic
it's going on there on AU.
I highly recommend it! at least, do check it out!!0 -
I like a lot of them, but just off the top of my head right now, I like the Parenting Beyond Belief Blog: The Meming of Life. http://parentingbeyondbelief.com/blog/0

As a former Christian, I like exchristian.net which has a lot of good articles, testimonials, videos, podcasts, etc.
PS, I'll be checking out your suggestion too at http://atheistuniverse.net/0 -
Yes, do check out atheistuniverse.net,
they have several "recovering theist" subgroups, "ex-christian" subgroups, etc.
You will be well understood by others there.0 -
I initially found The Thinking Atheist on Facebook, and I like his weekly podcast. His YouTube channel is my second favorite, with AronRa's being my very favorite.
He has a pretty good website too at www.thethinkingatheist.com. It has a forum which I do read but don't post on a lot.0 -
I love The Thinking Atheist. I have a crush on Seth0

Can't live without my monthly dose of mrdeity.com (videos are a youtube). Like the podcast Irreligiousity (though a little potty mouthed at times, and was on hiatus for a while). Then there is http://doubtfulnews.com/; http://www.debunkingchristianity.blogspot.ca/; skeptic.com; randi.org and I could go on. I suscribe to several and read daily news through my news reader.0

Must have a look at these sites. Our local AHS group meets regularly for a pub quiz and the prize is.....to write the next quiz. I won last time so am looking for good questions. The group is based at a University so I need to appeal to students and lecturers and, since it will be the first quiz of a new academic year, I mustn't scare off the Freshers....

I like reddit.com/r/atheism for some mindless atheist fun.
That is always good for a laugh but r/trueatheism is much more serious.0 -

I love Betty Bowers. I follow on FB. I like it because even though it's satire, there's usually a tiny grain of truth in there somewhere.0 -
Here is a funny video: Spot the Atheist http://youtu.be/Yy2Eq81lAu40
