Much slower start to the month than I'd hoped, but life happens, right?

Yesterday was rainy and cold, which made for the perfect walking weather this morning! I took advantage of the nice cool weather and steady breeze and walked 5 miles! Another personal best distance for me.

Woop! This morning I did my long walk and then heard from a friend asking us if we wanted to go for a hike! Absolutely, I do!

I've got only a lame 18 in so far.
Have a half marathon on Sept 30th on my treadmill (dont ask lol).. but that's a guaranteed 13.1
.. so I know I've got to still do 38.9
Need to make myself do another 8 or 10 mile sometime really soon that will help me get up there some more. Just have been really busy and unmotivated in the jogging dept. ... I'm still in though! I can do this.0 -

You are doing fantastic!!!!! Yesterday, I had an awesome day. I spent the morning with my sister and then I went to a block party that afternoon! Tomorrow, I'm going babysit for my daughter. After that, I'm going out to lunch with one of my girlfriends and then after lunch, we are going to have a mani/pedi! So, I'm going to make sure that I do my exercise early in the morning so I won't have to ride my bike at night before bedtime LOL!0 -
