I have a serious sweet tooth right now! What are your solutions to kick it?

the gum that tastes like different deserts, fruit, tea0

I would try to avoid eating anything sweet tasting because to me that just positively reinforces sweet cravings. I'd try eating something fatty. Or maybe something sour, like a pickle.0

An apple and some almond butter is my go-to. The almond butter is always a little sweet to me. The sweetness of the apple and almond butter, combined with the heaviness of protein and fat, see me through cravings when it's that TOTM. I know that's not your question regarding that TOTM. I crave fruit during PMS time. I read an article a few months back by Mark Sisson about how women are more likely to use the carb cravings during the second half of their cycle much more efficiently as energy, versus storing them in the beginning of the cycle due to hormonal changes. Mark Sisson recommends the tubers during this time but also mentions dark chocolate, and for that I love him.

1-2 dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts.0

The darkest dark chocolate you can stand. You can't eat more than a square or too and it shuts that craving down.
I might have to try that pickle idea too. Lol.0 -
Dark chocolate in moderation- the higher the percentage of cacao, the better.0

Personally, I always have some snacks for when a craving hits, and they work rather well.
Eggs. Eggs. Eggs.
The perfect staple. Just plain boiled eggs will do; nothing quite cures/ruins a sweet-tooth like sticking two or three of them down your throat. Alternatively, if you REALLY want a fix for your sweet tooth, try cracking two-to-three eggs in a cup and stirring in some cocoa - maybe with a few dark (very dark) chocolate chips, half a banana and berries if you like - stir it all up, microwave it, and hey presto! - instant tasty filling muffin.
Or, other alternatives exist. Jerky, carrots sticks and cottage cheese or avocado... these things tend to removes sweet cravings. To satisfy'em, fruit also works. If you use and/or tolerate it, mix cocoa and some protein powder with a tiny bit of water and eat it off the spoon - it's like a really, really thick nuttella-ish spread that's filling and kinda hard to eat - or coat a banana in it. It's what I'm nomming on right now. ^_^0 -

These with cocoa nibs...0 -
For a quick fix, I mash a banana and mix in cocoa powder. Sometimes I'll add almond butter. Ummmm, definitely feels like I'm cheating so I don't do it often.0

Frozen blueberries are the bomb. I usually have a piece of fruit to kill off the sugar craving.0
-
Frozen berries - blueberries and rasberries
Dried Mango - I buy mine from Whole Foods - you want to look for unsweetened - usually one piece suits me
Dark chocolate - I buy the Trader Joe dark chocolate bars - 3 small squares suit me just fine - you can't eat a whole lot of dark
Cup of fruit flavored tea - I spend the money and buy good tea at a tea shop0 -
I find that creamed coconut (also known as manna) or cocnut cream with salt does the trick. Overall it took me a while, but I am aiming to re-educated myself to completely avoid sweet flavors. So, cheese, nuts and coconut products go with my tea. Oh, and chopped fresh cabbage with a drizzle of balsamic and salt. Mmgh, good.0
