I've lost the equivalent of a car tyre!

As well as being a member of this esteemed Crimbo group, I'm also doing a September challenge - running or walking 125 miles in the month of September! That's over 4 miles a day - piece of cake - whoops wrong analogy...

Anyway, on my run earlier I was thinking about this week's loss, only 1lb - BAH! And so I started thinking about what I had already lost and what this might equate to, as a way to give myself a bit of a lift. Here's what I found out - my 20lb is equal to a car tyre. Imagine running around carrying that??

Evidently I still have an elephant's heart to lose, bizarre. What about you?

    Fabulous!

I am currently at a 3-gallon tub of super premium ice cream, but 1 more pound and I'll be at the average weight of a 2 year old. Which is a great image for me as I teach a nursery class and the youngest children are 2.5. When I've lost my next pound I can look at them and smile

Actually I'm liking the idea of two bald eagles. Imagine the conversation:

"How much have you lost now?"

    "Oh, about two bald eagles..."

    Interesting list of values....

According to that list, when I started to consciously do something about my weight, I weighed more than Arnold Schwarzenegger. My current weight is less than 2 Bloodhounds but still more than an average adult man. I have to-date managed to lose either a small bale of hay or 2 an average 2 year olds in weight

I would quite happily loose my 2-year-old at the moment....but that has got nothing to do with weight and is another story!!!

If you are a vegetarian, you should probably stop reading now!!!! For the rest of you...

Tonight we had a roast beef supper (on a Tue, tut, tut, I know!) and what always amazes me is how big a lump of meat is! I know that lb for lb we are constructed differently (but pretty much the same for the sake of my crappy observation!). The raw joint weighed at 3.15 lbs and was HUGE - now just remember that when you moan that you have "ONLY" lost a lb. I mean if I were to have guessed at the weight of it, I would have said about 10lbs.............I also know that the joint was pretty much all muscle, but STILL it is a very good picture to carry around - that is approximately what I have lost in a couple of weeks.

And yip, very tasty it was too........

Another car tyre to go at least for me! Good luck on loosing all your spare tyres!

Love it! Great images, although I'd like a UK based list. Like the joint of beef - very British!:drinker:
