One week down, One to go!!!

I am down 4 lbs and logged my weight on the group chart that was posted under the discussion board. Please log at minimum your weight (you'll be glad you did). Today is one week for me. I slipped up yesterday and drank at a party, but I have no one but myself to blame. Back at it though. One week down feels good. Veggies and protein on the menu for next week. I need to go to the grocery store again.... Make it a great week. :smooched:

WTG! I weigh in tomorrow. I'm excited to weigh in. I know I've lost because my clothing is getting looser. We'll see how it goes.0

I don't feel any lighter, but I do feel better :happy:
Went to the gym earlier for cardio & weights ...... then went foodshopping ..... picked up dairy & lots of veg ..... tomorrow I'll do some big batch cooking ...... was pretty successful avoiding all non-Phase 1 foods this week ...... but did have to look away from the fruit at the market .....

I'm floored! I weighed in, then checked it again, then went to the record from 9/17 and looked at it and then weighed in again. I'm down 12 - TWELVE- pounds. I cann't believe it....I'm happy about it but didn't expect to go down so quickly. I've done Atkins before and didn't loose this much in their phase 1 and didn't feel this GOOD.
Excited to start week 2, how about everyone else?0 -

Ok, so one more week on P1. I will say even though I only lost one pound, I do feel a lot better. My fridge is stocked with plenty of veggies (and this time around I am using up what I have already bought--trying not to throw so much out this time.)
Today I am making more poached chicken...will make the week easy (I usually work four days a week tues - friday)...and when I get home, I am tired...so having the protein ready to go makes decision making a whole lot easier. Also, go to veggie dishes.
Keeping it simple, when working, seems to be what I need to concentrate on to be successful.

Your picture is one of a tiny little person...with all that time in the gym...(great job, btw), you are so toned...you look great. Mary Ann, you are such a great role model for all of us. I know how you did not like exercising (at all) a little over a year ago...and look at you now...one aaaaaaaaaaadorable little gym rat.0 -

I've lost 5 lbs this week. Awesome! I almost can't believe it because I have been trying so hard the last few months to lose anything and it just wouldn't budge. This proves to me that I am just going to have to eat lower carbs for the rest of my life to keep weight off. Can't wait to see what my measurements are.0 -

I've lost 5 lbs this week. Awesome! I almost can't believe it because I have been trying so hard the last few months to lose anything and it just wouldn't budge. This proves to me that I am just going to have to eat lower carbs for the rest of my life to keep weight off. Can't wait to see what my measurements are.
Great job...love your enthusiasm. And FIVE pounds...that is so cool.
I love how using MFP diary will keep us checking and re checking and making changes when things do not go our way. So entering everything is really important. (I need to make some adjustments this second week).
The carbs added will be great (fruit and whole grains)...be sure to look into Ezekiel breads and tortillas...they are sprouted grains...very now on the Glycemic Index...something to think about.

Thanks!! I went to SAMs club today and bought red,orange and yellow peppers needed more eggs and there were sampling sabra spicy hummus I just had to buy it. Only 2 Tbs a day is gonna be hard. I dipped the sweet peppers in it. Yummy0 -

I'm down 4 ounces ...... and thrilled about it !
I usually eat pretty beachy, so didn't have to change much ...... there were a few mornings that I almost grabbed the Ezekial bread out of habit, but remembered in time ........ and I usually have a Granny Smith apple every afternoon ...... now each day I feel like I've forgotten something :laugh:
Everyone's doing very well ......... and we are all winners ...... let's pat ourselves on the back & keep on truckin' !
