Lol, I just started - so not doing deadlifts yet, but today:

    1. Squat - bar + 10lbs (50 lbs. total I *think* - need to ask next time I'm there how much it weighs!)
    2. 15 reps, 2 sets (60 sec. rest in between)
    3. 5'6" and 151 pounds.

I'm pretty proud of myself! :)

If you are using the 7 feet long oly bar, it is 45 lbs. + the 10 lbs. in plates that is 55 lbs.!

    Squat = 155 lbs 4 x 8
DL - It is embarrassing, but I haven't done DL's for a while. I do romanian style deadlifts on lower body days though, at 135 lbs 4 x 10. My glutes and hamstrings thank me. But this thread has inspired me to throw DL's back into the routing :-)

    I am 5'-4" 143 lbs. 22%BF.

    ETA I'm 60, 5'4" and 160

I did 7a today (stage one) and squatted 75lbs. My 6a deadlift on wednesday was 65lbs. I feel really strong, but I realize I'm a weakling after reading through this thread :). Most of you can DL higher weight then squat....interesting. I find DL's much more challenging.

    Just started stage 2.
    Squat 67
    DL 102

My numbers are always weird because my bar weighs 12 pounds.

I'm on stage one, but I'm repeating. When I started NROL4W, I got up to the end of stage 3, then started doing split days with my in-laws, now I'm restarting New Rules. So I'm on stage 1 for a second time.

Last time I was at the gym, I did 3 sets of 10 squats at 135, 145, and 150.
For deadlifts, I did 2 sets of 12 (I'm about to do the 3 sets workout today) at 95 and 100.

I've just got the last four workouts to go in stage 1, and currently doing:

    Squat - 88lb/35kg
    DL: 99lb/40kg

The mini barbells my gym has only go up to 40kg, so I'm going to stick with that for the next week,.... will have to look at going into the scary scary body builders gym if they are part of the later stages (it's always full and only with VERY big, very young, very scary looking blokes)

I know I started off vastly underestimating my strength, but even so, I'm amazed at how well I've done:love: No real weight loss though - or noticeable muscle tone/body recomp yet. Ho Hum. Will be measuring at the end of the stage and hope for some nice numbers, but not convinced.... But so much stringer, and happy with that TBH

Wow, I am always so impressed by the stats I see posted here--nice job ladies! To provide some inspiration for those of you beginning the program, I’ll give my starting and current weights, both my bodyweight and my lifting weights!

THEN: Stage 1 (started somewhere around April and completed it twice)
31 yrs, 5’5”, 138 pounds and very out of shape!

    Squat: 17.5 lb dumbbells 3x8
    Deadlift: 17.5 lb dumbbells 3x8

    NOW: Stage 5 (finishing tonight)
A little older, no taller, but much smaller and much stronger at 120 pounds

    Squat: 135 lbs 4x4
    Deadlift: 140 lbs 4x4

p.s./disclaimer-- I have been doing regular back squats (no fronts) and deadlifts (no box) throughout the program based on my home gym setup (no chance of eventually doing cleans or snatches in there due to low ceiling) and personal goals (have fun, get strong, make belly & thighs stop jiggling).

I'm in the middle of stage one (just completed 5A last night)

    1. Squats: 45kg (99lb)
    2. Deadlifts: I *can* do 55kg (121lb) but only for a couple of reps - in keeping with the programme, I can properly do 45kg (99lb)
    3. Height: 5'0" - Weight: 54.5kg (120lb)
