Hi-
Even tho tonight isn't over, I'm counting it since I am heading upstairs for the night.

This challenge has kept me from going completely out of control. Thank you!
dewdrop. thanks also for your kind words about my new picture. I was dancing the mother-son dance at my handsome son's wedding. I was ecstatic that day and felt so good in my dress. I had managed to lose about 17 pounds by that day (gained back about 5 or 6, but am working on it slowly). Thanks, as always, for your steadfast support!:flowerforyou:
Have a great week-end everyone. Remember the challenge! But note that it's OK to have a later cut-off if you have plans and a later schedule. Just stick to that later cut-off time.

Sticking to it, yeah!

I finished my son's banana (2 small bites) and had a 1/2 cup of milk after my cut-off. However, I felt hungry when I was in bed and wanted to ravage my fridge. Didn't do it. Then woke up in the middle of the night and resisted hunger. So I think it's fair to say:

Tomorrow night my husband and I are planning a meal and cinema and I plan to LNS. So I won't be 100% for much longer, but I believe in 80/20 and living a little. I'll just try not to get too carried away :blushing:0 -

Political debates make me want to snack. Plus I was stressed because I'm trying to fix my washing machine. I didn't really eat anything bad though, a bunch of peanuts and grapes.0 -

I didn't even have dessert at our restaurant club last night.0 -

It has been difficult for me to find time to write much. It has taken me about 3 months, but the NO LNS has FINALLY become a WONDERFUL HABIT...and it is SHOWING on my waist and hips!! ...but wanted say CONGRATS to everyone for a Grrreat job!
**Beeps* Grrreat job not having dessert. Sugar “used to be” my downfall…but the awareness of responsibility for my choices here on MFP got me passed that. When I have dessert now…I share it with someone, and it is light. I know what a VICTORY you feel…WTG!!!
**Tommy** Junk LNS is the name of our forum…Peanuts and Grapes as LNS’ing can lead to other things…sooo I just don’t eat after 8pm…at all! You are doing great in your accountability. Glad you are here
**Lulabelle** Doing Grrreat…keeping the LNS to a miminum…WTG
**Kate** You are doing AWESOME!! Planning is EVERYTHING…and I like your 80/20 rule..and living life! Special occasions are just for those time Have FUN!!
**Dewdrop** You are doing grrreat…WOW LNS = 0 … YOU GOOOOO Girl AWESOME!! (big smile)
**ZaZa** Congrats…glad you decided to jump right in with your accountability after spending some time away~ Glad to meet ya (big smile)…

I *love* it when the '15' appears....it means that more than half the month I have NOT LNS. This, for me, is VERY positive news!0 -
Hi everyone!
I need to get back on track a little. As well as cutting out the LNS I have tried for the last few months to cut out all snacking. The past few days I have been way too unhealthy with far too much cake on Thurday, a whopper vege burger on Wednesday followed by pic n mix at the cinema, lots of toffees yesterday, then a curry last night followed by a little ice cream. Hmm. I need to sort it out. Since February I have lost 5kg and am at target and I love it. From today I need to cut out/ cut back significantly the sugary rubbish again.
My LNS score is
Me 18
LNS 2 ( tho both planned, one being a ball of icecream last night, one being a smallish amount of pic n mix)
This morning I aim to run 8 miles. I've not run much since my ultra 13 days ago because my toes have been blistered and are still giving me grief when I wear trainers. But running keeps my mind healthy and then I don't want to eat sugary rubbish :noway:
Happy Saturday everyone :flowerforyou:0 -

I need to do better. :grumble:
lulabellewoow, great job on the 15. I know you can do even better. Do you think you can reach 20?
katemateg, very impressive numbers and exercise plan! I bet you'll surpass 20 days without LNS.
OK, I need this inspiration you ladies are providing. I'm going to keep trying for the rest of the month, but I really want to kick a-- in Nov. I know how you feel katemateg - I felt great when I lost the weight for my son's wedding. I need to get back there not for the number, but because I felt better in every sense.
Good week-end everyone! :flowerforyou:

**Zaza** You WILL do better cause you are focusing. I set my no LNS at 8pm…giving myself two hours to digest the last of my food before I go to bed. It has FINALLY become a habit I cherish, cause I am not bloated anymore going to bed, and I get up HUNGRY... I am HAPPY for my new habit...thanks to this forum, I am also few pounds lighter. I pretty much eat what I want, but have been staying away from heavy desserts. I love my Kettle Korn though…lol. Just took my blood test for cholesterol and it came back as Cholesterol: 169; Trigl: 184, LDL: 94, my HDL went down to 38 for 47…so happy my cholesterol is low because I had a mild heart attack in 09…I am still working to get my HDL to stay above 45 and my overall Cholesterol under 150. I take my blood test every 3 months. I love my snack foods…and in the week I took my blood test... I snacked on Doritos, and had fried chicken without the skin. We keep trying…soo glad we are on this this journey together with the rest of our LNS Fighters.:flowerforyou:
**Kate** I feel for your, Buddy,…blistered toes are DEFINITELY a testimony of your long runs. When I was an actual “runner” many years ago, I thought the food world was mine since I exercised soo diligently. I ate recklessly, not only a "little" but enough to have that darn Heart Attack many years later. I was AMAZED more than my family and friends!! Heal Well… You will get back on track with the food, cause you are pretty diligent. Glad you are here to share (big smile). I have curbed my love for junk snacks BIG TIME…and my cholesterol readings show it. Now I have to be diligent about my exercise to get my HDL over 45. I used to do Zumba with regularity. I *say* I will weight train…and have not done that…sooo in these NEXT three months…hoping to get my Cholesterol down under 150, and my HDL over 45 (it reached 47 last time). LDL is low…thank goodness. I vowed NOT to have another heart attack…and doctors told me many who have had them, will in another 5 years if they don’t change their habits. It has been 3 years already…and I need to live at LEAST another 27 years to see my grandkids grow up (smile).
**Beeps* Congrats on reaching 15…YES…POSITIVE is grrreat!! :flowerforyou:
Hi to **Tommy** **Lulabelle****Gmukris** Keep up the Accountability and Grreat Work! :drinker:
**WayaLuna** Miss you here!!: Hope to see you soon!!
**Gmukris** Hope you are enjoying your vacation :flowerforyou:
I am happy to be a part of this group for almost three months running! Had time to be verbose!!
Thanks, **DewDrop** :flowerforyou:

I think I'm at:
Me:19 - LNS: 2
because last night I finished dinner at 8:30 and I was a bit generous. I did think of the challenge though and gave up the fruit yoghurt I was going to spoil myself with. What I fail to remember is if there was a night last week where knowing that the next day I was going to "fast" at least until noon I might have eaten dinner around 9. I don't remember going overboard, though.
Oh, btw, I don't have Alzheimer. Not that I know of .0 -

Day 22
Me 19
LNS 2 I think.
After days of being more piggy than needed, I cut back a little yesterday. I still definitely enjoyed myself though
I exercised a fair bit over the weekend ( a 9 mile run and 5 miles of walking on Saturday and a 5 mile run on Sunday)
But Mondays are always the start of a new week which always make me want to cut out the rubbish snacks :drinker:
Everyone (that is writing on here most days) looks to be doing really well. Keep it up folks Thanks for all the support. This is definitely my best month so far:flowerforyou:0
