Week 1 Challenge!

Time Frame:
October 19, 2012 - October 26, 2012.

The "Challenge"-
1. Only eat under 1,200 calories per day!
2. Only drink one diet soda per day, the rest WATER(:

This will be our first challenge, next week I think we'll incorporate exercise. Don't push yourself.
You HAVE to get the eating down before you can exercise as well (:

    Are we including if we do exercise eating back our calories??
  • If you DO choose to exercise during week 1, yes eat back your calories.

    Ok - I was just curious. In the Navy, we're required to have 3 pt sessions a week, so I was just curious.

    Hmm...methinks the hardest part here will be the ONE, the DIET soda part O:-). I love my regular pepsi - been good about cutting it back, and drinking diet on occasion, but I do love my regular O:-)

    I definately can't eat only 1200 calories a day :/ I will check in next week to see what the challenge is then. GOOD LUCK!!!
  • I will accept if you let my calorie totals slide as I am breastfeeding a 2 week old baby and am still establishing my milk supply so I don't want to do anything that will effect my daughters nutrition. I will eat healthy though. So if we can only have 1 diet soda per day, does that mean we can have unlimited regular soda's all day? Just kidding!!!!

    Can't or won't?

    I'm in! I changed my calories to 1300 but will change it back, I will just have to exercise more to eat the 1300!
    I don't drink soda as is, and definitely not diet soda, so I think I'm good. Maybe for me I will count my coffee as the challenge!
    I've narrowed it down to about 3 a week, but once a week might be a good challenge!

    I accept the soda challenge but I am afraid I can't on the cal's as it would stall my weight loss ( I know what I need to do personally for my body) so if that is ok I am in-an wish everyone good luck

    I gave up my a bottle a day Pepsi Max as I knew it was RUBBISH, but then saw that you are 6 times more likely to get Pancreatic Cancer and since then have it about once a month as a treat. BUT I dont drink enough water so am accepting the challenge.

    I feel so lucky to not have a soda addiction. When I was a kid, everybody in my family drank Pepsi all the time, even with meals. My younger brother and I preferred milk. We are the only ones in our family with good teeth!

    I am 58 and that was a long time ago and my teeth are still great. Back then the only diet soda was TAB and I don't know if anyone else remembers that but it was truly awful!

  • Yes of course that's fine if your breast feeding yours should be around 1700-2000
