Food Shopping List

I need some advice, some tips, and some idea on how to get this started. I will be going food shopping this weekend and need to get an idea of what foods I should be eating and which to avoid. I am a vegetarian, but eat fish. So I need to be getting my 35% protein from other foods.
If everyone that visits this topic can take a minute and post a list of their typical food shopping list, also mention foods you don't buy but know that are good to incorporate in my menu. Also, your favorites!
I love peanut butter, but I don't know if skippy or jif is going to cut it. Do I need all natural? Love chocolate, but I'm sure Hershey's is not the healthiest...
Tips, advice, anything and everything...I'm ready!
