I workout 4-6 days/week and do a combination of weight lifting and running. Currently training for a 1/2 marathon in December. I love working out and have no problem motivating myself to do that, it's just the food I struggle with. I recently upped calories from 1,200/day+exercise (about 1600 total) to 2,100. I'm feeling much better and not gaining. I focus on high protein, and don't eat much grain/wheat products and very little processed foods. I cook a lot. Weakness is desert and alcohol.

Hey all! I've seen some possible relatives of mine, but no twins yet. So here it goes:

I've gained about 10 pounds in the last year. I gained several pounds over the winter last year, but lost most of it over the summer. Then I did the 30 Day Shred and had very weird results. I gained about 4 pounds from day 1 to day 30, and didn't lose any inches anywhere... Strange! Anyhow, I've been doing Ripped in 30 and Killer Buns & Thighs and steadily gaining weight. Probably at least partially attributable to muscle gain, but frustrating nonetheless.

I do track my weight all the time but I judge my progress on how my pants fit. They don't fit atm!
I did JM for a short.. it helped gain muscle strength and stamina so I could do more regular exercise for burning fat like running and all the crazy P90X cardio things...0 -

So although weight wise I'm not that different body fat has gone up was over 30% when I started MFP. Just looking to get toned and if I get under 140 that'll be a bonus. Doing Body Revolution at the moment and will finish this Dec so looking forward to looking better by Christmas :happy:0 -
