    Honestly, what has worked for me is counting calories and exercise...no gimmicks- just following the plan myfitnesspal gave and sticking to that #. Then there's not a real limit on certain food groups etc, just paying attention and being accountable for what goes in your mouth. Oh and reducing sodium makes quite a difference too...
