This veggies thing... How are people getting there or planning on getting there? Broccoli for breakfast?
I was thinking Kale! :laugh: For the veggies, there is about 1/2 cup for a serving so you can have 1 cup of veggies with dinner and you already knock two servings off. Also, juicing, adding a veggie to an omelet, or adding some into your soup could be some veggie adding ideas. I know I didn't get my veggies yesterday, so it can be a challenge for me too. Even if you don't get all of your servings, the idea is to push yourself harder into a healthy lifestyle. So if you ate one serving when you usually don't eat any, you still get a thumbs up in my book! I read a quote yesterday that I think is very true.. "If you change nothing, nothing will change".0 -

Sorry for the late response. I was traveling for business yesterday.
My points for Wednesday January 9th were as follows:

5 points - yes, as long as you count the veggies in my soups

5 points - no, was on travel...boo!

Getting all that in is a real challenge on the road. You did fab! Those veggie in your soup definitely count! That must have been difficult to get all that water in while traveling. I would have been stopping for the bathroom every five minutes or so!:blushing:0 -

I have to say how fantastic you are all doing!! I am impressed!
Today I was:

On a funny note... I was upset about the way a manager at the gym treated my 19 year old daughter so I was pumping the elliptical like my life depended on it and giving dirty looks to the meanie the entire time. I didn't even feel the burn. I guess my mommy instincts to protect kicked in. :laugh:0 -

I have a juicer that I like. It works great to get extra fruits and veggies in. The only down side is that it is pretty costly to use as you have to go through quite a bit of produce to get your cup of juice. Mine is the Jack LaLane (not sure about that spelling) and I think it costs about $100.0 -

I can totally relate! I had a stressful couple of days too. I think you can be proud of yourself for pushing yourself to log your food and get a treadmill run in. Both of which you probably were really not feeling up to if you were under a lot of stress. You didn't crumble, you stood tall and kept going on this journey. Today is a new day!!0 -
