    Turkey Trot 8K on Thanksgiving
    Polar Dash HM on 1/13


    Thinking of doing the MFP Christmas Crawl HM on 12/15 too, but haven't decided. After my 10 mile last week my knee is bugging.

    Yay! I am going to do the Polar Dash half too! We'll have to meet up! Are you following a training plan? Since I only have 6 weeks, I'm going to just skip to week 5 of the Hal Higdon plan and see how it goes!

    Just did the Monster Dash 10 mile last month (7 weeks post-partum), and then was able to do a turkey trot 5K last weekend in 26:23, which was only 30 seconds a mile slower than my PR for a 5k, so happy with this come back after baby. My half PR is a 2:05:47, so I hope to beat that and maybe even aim for a sub 2:00 half this coming year!!

    Polar Dash 10k on New Year's day, Get lucky half marathon in March 2013, Med city half in May, Go commando in July, Women Rock half in August, maybe a Warrior dash in September, and Monster dash half in October. Most definitely will throw in some local 5 and 10ks throughout the year as well.

    Impressive stuff!

    Oh awesome! I wasn't totally sure where to pick up, I've been doing 5 mile runs as my long runs - so I skipped to week 7 and am doing a 7 mile run tomorrow - then since that leaves me a gap week I'm just going to do 3 mile runs the week after the 10 mile run for the 2 weeks up until the Polar Dash.

    I am bouncing back from having my first baby. How? By registering for a 10 miler in March and the Color RUn 5k in Mo in April. That 10 miler has me nervous as hell. It's my biggest so far, I've only done 5k's for the past 2 yrs. So I've got my training gearing up soon. Still scared as hell!
