                    Anyone want to share some sites or sources of proper lifting technique instruction?
I found this one http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/training/benching-with-the-pecs.html very helpful. I've probably made more progress in the last month using this technique than I did in the six months of lifting before that. (thanks for the reco SideSteel!)

            I like Mark Rippetoe's videos for the basic barbell techniques. Check him out on Youtube.
 My personal preference is Dave Tate for bench press over Rippetoe however I still think Rip's info is legit and this is really just a personal preference on my part.0

 This guys youtube channel is probably the best squatting resource on the interwebs,
 As much as I love eliteFTS and their stuff is awesome, some of it is geared towards people who will eventually powerlift in lifting gear (squat suits, bench shirts etc) , so not all of it is totally applicable to your newbie lifter. Still good stuff though0

            Last night I watched the "so you think you can bench" series. This morning I used some of the techniques I learned and I CRUSHED my bench press, as well as incline press. They almost felt effortless. I can't wait to watch the others. Thanks again to all for your reccomendations.0

            Definitely need to look at some of these. My knee is killing me, so I'm obviously doing something wrong with my squats. I've watched the Rippetoe videos, but I guess I'm missing something. I'll need to check out all the other sources.0

 I watched these videos (at least 1-3) and he says to keep your head UP during the squat. In Starting Strength, Mark Rippetoe says to keep your head down looking at a point 4 to 5 feet in front of you on the floor.0

 I get my info from elitefts.net, they have some good videos on youtube as well.
 Dave Tate > Rip
 He's stronger, has more experience, gives more back to the strength community, etc.0

 Ripp also has a video of him squatting 315x10 with questionable form, and slow speed.
